Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment while the regular teacher is absent, ensuring students are engaged and following the academy's behaviour and discipline policies.
- Oversee students during lessons, breaks, and transitions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist students with questions and provide guidance on the lesson content, helping them stay on track with their studies.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, behaviour incidents, and other relevant information.
- Create a welcoming classroom where everyone feels respected and valued, reflecting the academy's values.
- Know and follow all emergency protocols to ensure a safe learning environment for students
Requirements:
- A recently updated Enhanced child DBS or willingness to obtain a new one
- Required eligibility for employment in the UK
- Prior experience in interacting with children
- Sound expertise in working with children at Secondary School with KS3 and KS4.
- Exceptional aptitude for managing student behaviour
- Diligent work ethic and professional demeanour
- Optimistic approach towards continuous learning
