Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our very prestigious client based in Rainham, Essex. We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Assistant Shift Supervisor (night shift). This is full time and permanent position and working for very well established international company. Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression.

Packing Hall, working a Permanent night shift.

Mon - Thurs - 21.45 - 05.45

Friday - 19.45 - 03.45

Main Duties:

  • Assisting the shift supervisor on the Management and control of Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Yield and Waste.
  • Full knowledge of packing hall Annual budget and support cost-saving projects and ways of reducing waste where possible.
  • Operate Production machinery to the highest levels setting Standards and Best practices for Line Operations to achieve best output.
  • Contribute towards NPD by carrying out trials and projects to achieve time lines.
  • Share knowledge and train people on the floor when tasked to do so.
  • Take on and action issues as and when they arise on the production floor whether inside or outside of normal expected areas of accountabilities.

Special Requirements:

  • Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role and an understanding of a production environment.
