Role: Project Manager at Civil Engineering contractor in Essex. This role will be working on various projects, including but not limited to;
- Buildings, Stations & Structures
- Enabling works
- Earthworks and Civils
- Rail Projects
- Premises and Security
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all project stages from feasibility to completion.
- Manage tender processes, contract awards, enabling works, and handovers.
- Apply engineering expertise to maximise client value and minimise environmental impact.
- Advise on contract procurement and select contractors.
- Provide direction and consistency to contractors.
- Optimize project schemes for revenue and efficiency.
- Attend internal and design meetings, and site visits.
- Identify and resolve project delays.
- Collaborate with the Procurement Manager for best value procurement.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of project/site management experience ideally with a sub-contractor.
- Experience with construction drawings, setting out, and using various software - A-Site/4Projects etc.
- Health & Safety experience, including generating RAMS, CPP, and ITPs.
- Excellent communication, management, organisational, and administrative skills.
- Willingness to work unsociable hours on potential engineering hours projects.
