The successful candidate should possess the ability to think outside the box to ensure students are eager to learn, enabling them to raise their aspirations and to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Shape young minds on a part-time basis! This permanent role (1-2 days/week) starts in September.

Requirements

  • Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Education or Mathematics
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Right to work in the UK-this is essential
  • 2 relevant professional references
  • Experience teaching Maths across KS3 & KS4
  • The ability to interest, encourage and engage students

Responsibilities

  • Be an outstanding and innovative classroom practitioner who can lead and enthuse students
  • Innovate and inspire with lessons that bring maths to life, making use of interactive tools, games, and real-world applications
  • Demonstrate a robust understanding of maths and a proven ability to teach it effectively
  • Challenge and engage students to maximise their learning and skill development.
  • Organise and participate in extracurricular activities, such as Maths clubs, competitions, and workshops, to enrich student's learning experiences
