Randstad Education is looking to appoint an exciting, exceptional and inspirational Teacher of RE & Social Sciences who has the passion and commitment to develop confident and capable young people. The successful candidate should possess the ability to think outside the box to ensure students are eager to learn, enabling them to raise their aspirations and to achieve the best possible outcomes.

This is a Permanent Position, starting in September.

Requirements

  • QTS/QTLS is essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Must provide 2 proven professional references
  • Good understanding of current theory and practice of best practice in teaching and learning
  • Demonstrate recent success in engaging and educating students across Key Stages 3 and 4

Responsibilities

  • Develop and teach engaging RE and Sociology lessons that meet all national curriculum requirements
  • Bring your expertise in the National Curriculum to our dynamic learning environment
  • Understanding of effective strategies for maintaining high standards of discipline within the classroom
  • Secure high standards of behaviour
  • Utilise assessment information to personalise learning, ensuring each student receives targeted support and guidance
