Are you looking for a new opportunity?We are recruiting on behalf of a manufacturer in Rainham, Essex who are looking to hire an experienced toolmaker on a part time basis.Responsibilities:• Safely design & manufacture tooling, jigs and fixtures as requested.• Undertake or arrange maintenance on plant, production tooling, jigs and fixtures as required or requested and develop preventative maintenance strategies.• Manufacture prototype and special parts as requested.• Recognise and report opportunities for tooling to assist/improve the manufacturing process.Skills Required:• Ability to read & interpret technical engineering drawings.• Knowledge of standard toolroom equipment including lathes, presses, grinders (surface, cylindrical, cutter, bench), milling machines, drills, welding, etc.• Keen attention to detail.• Good hand tool skills.
