- Diagnose and fix electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic issues
- Overhaul electrical components and equipment
- Perform welding and metalworking tasks (if authorized & qualified)
- Utilize advanced machine tools and equipment (if authorized)
- Conduct Department of Transport (MOT) testing (when suitably qualified)
- Manage parts ordering and stores inventory
- Mentor and support Apprentice Technicians
- Maintain precise job records and details
- Ensure workshop equipment is in top working condition
- Uphold rigorous health, safety, and cleanliness standards
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicle maintenance or equivalent
- Strong customer service mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to excel
- Proficient in comprehensive repair and servicing techniques
- Diagnostic skills and qualifications are a plus
- Prior fleet management experience is advantageous
