The estimator will play a pivotal role in estimating costs, planning and scheduling production as well as integrating with financial and project management aspects of the company.

Providing detailed projections on costs and timelines, ensuring yoou stay competitive by accurate forecasting. The estimator is responsible for compiling and analysing data on all factors that influence cost such as materials, labour, and lead times.

We require people who are motivated to deliver high quality work and will integrate with our existing friendly team. Across all our engineering roles we need people with a keen interest in continuous learning, who will approach problem solving with an open mind, and enjoy technically challenging projects. You will be a key team member of a process which completes projects from concept through to delivery.

 

Responsabilities - 

You will have responsibility for the following:

  • Estimate the time, cost, materials and labour required to manufacture a product, or provide a service.
  • Creates new part numbers, Material codes, BOM’s and Labour plans
  • Reviews technical drawings
  • Collaborates with Engineering , Sales, Project Management, Purchasing and Production.
  • Plans the manufacturing process
  • Creates the routing cards for production
  • Reviews completed routing cards and updates the planning according to deviations from the planned process.
  • Inputting data into the MRP.
