Finance Business Partner | £55k - £60k | East Kent

The purpose of the role is to support to the Senior Finance Business Partner and operational teams in delivering financial insight to the business. Responsible for providing accurate and timely reporting and analysis to assist with improvements in business performance. Provide wider support to the Finance Business Partnering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis of weekly and monthly KPI data for business performance.
- Preparation and presentation of budgets and forecasting.
- Support the tender process providing financial insight to explain cost drivers.
- Reporting of variances between actual and budgeted/forecast spend within the management accounts, including representing the finance function in monthly business performance reviews.
- Provide support and ongoing financial analysis to the non finance stakeholders
- Work closely with the management team to review potential performance improvements opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal candidate will ACA; ACCA or CIMA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Advanced Excel skills in order to manipulate data in spreadsheets, create lookups, pivot tables, advanced formulae etc.
- Excellent analytical/numerical skills with advanced excel skills to manipulate data in spreadsheets, create lookups, PivotTables, advanced formulas, use of Power Query etc.
- Experience using Microsoft Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationship with stakeholders and resolve conflicts, maintaining the ability to engage effectively and influence.
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
- Participate in reporting systems development and process improvements as required, to ensure that planned outcomes are achieved.
- Performing ad-hoc duties as required as part of the overall finance function.
