A leading maintenance and repair facility with a strong reputation in the aerospace industry is seeking a Hydraulic/Mechanical Fitter to join their team in Ramsgate. This position involves hands-on disassembly, assembly, and inspection of various hydraulic and mechanical components, ensuring that quality and safety standards are maintained to regulatory and company specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble hydraulic and mechanical components to individual parts.
  • Assemble hydraulic and mechanical units based on technical data, ensuring they meet testing and inspection standards.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety and operational procedures.
  • Maintain quality standards in line with CAA, EASA, FAA, and company regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support operations and business goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Background in hydraulic or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Strong numeracy, literacy, and the ability to interpret compliance documentation.
