Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities to individuals or small groups.
• Support in delivering lessons and covering classes in the absence of teachers, following pre-planned materials.
• Provide additional support to students with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their full potential.
• Assist in managing student behavior, fostering a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and helping to adapt learning strategies accordingly.
• Contribute to the development of individual education plans (IEPs) and implement personalized support strategies.
• Support the wider school community in extracurricular activities and events.

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with students in a secondary school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their best.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of SEN and how to support students with additional needs is desirable.
