Our client is looking for a Social Media expert to publish content across a range of social platforms in a range of formats for video to text. You will need to have a passion for social media, editing skills and a deep understanding of environmental issues
Key Responsibilities – Social Media Manager
- Publishing: Posting a range of engaging and shareable content types across the various platforms we use
- Platform Management: Manage our social media profiles, ensuring bios are up to date, correct profile images are used, and links are correct
- Audience interaction: Respond where appropriate to audience and moderate where needed
- Analysis: Report on and analyse performance of content across all media channels
- Content ideation: Working with the team to develop ideas for social media content
- Trending content: Spot relevant trends and suggest responses
- Point of contact:Â Be the go-to person between internal and external stakeholders on day to day content across social media
Qualifications & Requirements – Social Media Manager
- Social/digital media native – you must know social media inside out
- Excellent spelling and grammar
- Able to demonstrate proficiency with video editing software – Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar
- Deep understanding of green issues, especially in the areas of energy, transport and food
- Able to identify key trending stories
- Able to learn quickly and adapt to changes in organisational priorities
- Ability to analyse data and come up with recommendations based on findings
- Able to prioritise projects and complete them with efficiency and accuracy
- You can show the impact your work has had on growing social media accounts
