Main Responsibilities of the Laser Setter Operator

  • Set-Up & Maintenance: Prepare laser CNC jobs, adjust materials, and ensure laser cutting conditions are optimal.
  • Quality Control: Conduct set-up and first-piece inspections to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and programmers to enhance safety and efficiency.
  • Product Handling: Load, unload, and package products with care, moving finished pieces to their designated areas.
  • Equipment Monitoring: Track equipment and tool wear, carrying out basic maintenance and repairs as needed.
