Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a CMM Mitutoyo Inspector to work on the behalf of one of our reputable Aerospace clients based in Newbridge, Edinburgh. This role is a contract until December 2024, with possibility of extension.
Principal Tasks and Responsibilities
- Inspection of metalwork and components parts used in Microwave Communications Equipment.
- This will be for incoming and outgoing parts. Controlling non-conformances, liaising with the production line for problem solving on issues identified.
- Taking measurements using CMM and other traditional measurement methods, along with visual checks on products.
Applicants will be required to have the following:
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Typically reports to a supervisor.
Day shift - 8.25-5.05 with some flexibility
