The Clinical Lead Nurse role offers a comprehensive package, including:

  • Annual salary of 48,800.
  • Hourly rate of up to 21.00.

  • Structured shift pattern: Week 1 - 3 x 12-hour shifts, Week 2 - 4 x 12-hour shifts.
  • Day shifts.
As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will:

  • Oversee clinical and professional decision-making within the care home.
  • Supervise, mentor, and coach staff.
  • Ensure compliance with The Health and Social Care Act 2008 and other relevant legislation.
  • Manage crises and emergencies effectively.
  • Write reports, chair meetings, and implement changes.
  • Provide care and support to residents, particularly those with dementia and other conditions relevant to older people.
The ideal Clinical Lead Nurse will have:

  • A valid NMC PIN.
  • Recent and significant experience in a similar care setting.
  • Experience in supervision, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Knowledge of The Health and Social Care Act 2008 and relevant legislation.
  • Understanding of conditions relevant to older people, including dementia.
  • Strong organisational and decision-making skills.
  • Effective time management and crisis management abilities.
  • Ability to write reports, chair meetings, and implement changes.
