Regular Days

We are actively seeking a fully qualified and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced production maintenance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the continuous operation of the production environment, with responsibilities that include Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM), breakdown maintenance, fault-finding, and project work across various production lines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform breakdown repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production.

Conduct mechanical and building installations, both reactive and planned.

Analyse and solve problems effectively, especially during breakdowns.

Drive continuous improvements in production processes and plant modernisation projects.

Uphold health and safety standards across all projects and daily operations.

Exhibit a determined and flexible attitude to deliver timely and professional maintenance services in support of high-volume manufacturing.

SKILLS:

Strong mechanical problem-solving abilities and hands-on expertise.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

A proactive approach to engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ability to work in a self-organizing team while supporting other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Time Served Apprenticeship

Minimum Qualification: City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

Experience: At least 5 years in a similar maintenance engineering role within a production environment.
