The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Rawtenstall for the academic year from January to August 2025. The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons in biology, chemistry, and physics. You will be responsible for preparing students for their GCSE exams, sparking their curiosity in the sciences, and helping them develop the knowledge and skills needed for future academic or career paths in science and related fields.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Assessing and tracking student progress, providing regular feedback
Creating an engaging and stimulating learning environment
Encouraging students to explore scientific concepts and develop critical thinking
Collaborating with colleagues to develop and enhance the science curriculum
Essential Criteria:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
