Duties:

  • Prepare and analyse project cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analyses for potential projects
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather project information
  • Evaluate contractor bids and negotiate contracts
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders
  • Identify potential cost-saving measures and recommend value engineering options
  • Review and approve contractor payment applications
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify work completed

Experience required:

  • Groundwork and Civils
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
