Safeguarding Manager

My client is a leading provider of housing solutions and in the search of a Safeguarding Manager.

We are looking for someone who has:

-Previous experience in a leadership / management Safeguarding role

-Experience in the childcare sector

-Experience in developing and maintaining professional relationships with external stakeholders and to be able to represent the company at agency meetings, groups and hearings

Your daily tasks would include:

-Lead the implementation of safeguarding policies, protocols and procedures

-Promote a culture where the safety of vulnerable Children in Care, Children in Need and Care Leavers is paramount and to reduce organisational risk

-Act as the Safeguarding lead and ensuring that a stable and secure environment is provided for all young people.

-Develop and maintain external links with local safeguarding teams, bringing community expertise into the strategy for Ready Homes

-Review the safeguarding policy and procedures on an annual basis to deliver the safeguarding strategy and incorporate current legislation
