Reed Engineering are currently supporting an established manufacturer in search of a skilled Electronics Technician. This role is perfect for individuals who excel in fault finding to component level, conducting electronics testing, and performing precise soldering to surface mount level. Day-to-day of the role:

Conduct detailed fault finding and diagnostics to component level on various electronic devices.
Perform electronics testing using a variety of test equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with standards.
Execute expert soldering tasks to surface mount level, ensuring high-quality connections and integrity of components.
Carry out board level modifications and repairs, adhering to technical specifications and quality standards.
Collaborate with the engineering team to discuss and solve complex electronic issues.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, contributing to continuous improvement of processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Electronics Technician with strong fault-finding skills to component level.
Proficient in using electronic test equipment and tools.
Skilled in soldering, especially at surface mount level, and capable of performing board level modifications and repairs.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high standards of quality.
