We are a dynamic and diversifying company specializing in the design and construction of high-end, luxury turnkey Swimming Pool developments for the Wet Leisure industry. Our projects span both the Commercial and Domestic sectors, and we are seeking an Office Administrator to join our small but busy management team at our head office in Rayleigh, Essex.

About the Role: The successful candidate will support the Design and Construction Director in delivering projects to the highest standards. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day running of the office. While you won’t manage staff directly, you will be an essential part of a collaborative management team, assisting with various administrative and operational tasks.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Serving as the first point of contact for clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers
  • General office and project administration
  • Handling incoming calls and responding appropriately
  • Managing incoming mail (both postal and email)
  • Assisting the accounts manager by providing all necessary information for timely invoicing
  • Acting as the company’s Data Protection Officer to ensure GDPR compliance
  • Regular review and updating of company policies
  • Assisting with the procurement of materials
  • Preparing quotes and tenders for new projects
  • Coordinating site operations and overseeing project handovers
  • Facilitating communication between the site and office teams

Candidate Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize workloads, multitask, and maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows 10
  • Basic working knowledge of Sage accounts package (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reside near Rayleigh, Essex
  • Professional, approachable, and friendly demeanor
  • Self-motivated with a high level of responsibility and pride in their work

Remuneration:

  • Competitive salary under PAYE
