Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician role will be working within the field service team installing, replacing, repairing, servicing and maintaining VELUX products across the South of England at both commercial and residential properties. You will be working to our clients’ high-standards, offering the service demonstrated by their reviews. Full training will be given to the successful candidate.

Duties (include but are not limited to)

  • Ability to work in a small team and make practical decisions.
  • Install, upgrade, maintain and troubleshoot VELUX window products and installations.
  • Happy to travel to other counties where required, possibly involving overnight stays.
  • Produce reports.
  • To attend training courses where necessary.

Person Specification

  • Full UK driving licence essential (with 2 years minimum driving experience)
  • Experience in a manual / physically demanding role preferred (carpenter / general builder / multi-trade / window cleaner experience would transfer well into this role)
  • Knowledge of VELUX products desirable but not essential
  • The ideal candidate will be a customer focused team player, who enjoys solving customer problems
  • You will be a hard-worker who is comfortable with heights, and will most importantly have a sense of adventure.
  • This position is based on an initial three-month probationary period with the prospect of a permanent job with career prospects on successful completion.
