Junior Project Manager

- 30,000 to 35,000 dependent on experience
Reed Engineering are working with a prestigious British audio manufacturer renowned for its high-fidelity brands and innovative sound solutions. They are expanding their Operations team and seeking an exceptional Junior Project Manager to support their project management strategy and contribute to their ongoing success and growth.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules with input from key stakeholders.
- Manage and communicate project deadlines, milestones, delays, and interruptions.
- Generate and distribute project reports and KPIs.
- Oversee project and product costs throughout the development lifecycle.
- Engage in process improvement activities within the project management function and wider R&D teams.
- Manage and communicate project risks, escalating them as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good stakeholder management skills and a collaborative team player attitude.
- Risk management capabilities.
- Qualifications in project management (e.g., Prince 2) are advantageous but not essential with relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a project management role.
- Experience with Gantt Charts and Waterfall Planning.
- Background in Engineering (Electronics/Software/Mech) or Product Design is preferred.
- Experience in R&D teams and Microsoft Project is desirable.
