Shift Patterns range from:
  • 7:30am to 1:30pm
  • 1:30pm to 19:30pm
  • 7:30am to 19:30pm

Responsibilities as a Kitchen Assistant:

  • Assisting the Cook:
    • Aid in the preparation of vegetables and provide support during busy periods.
    • Clean kitchen equipment, including cooker, oven hot plate, Bain Maries, Fridges, and Freezers as per the cleaning schedule.
    • Follow the cleaning schedule directed by the Head Cook.
    • Dispose of waste bags following health & safety and infection control procedures.
    • Maintain cleanliness of tea trolleys, trays, and the dishwasher.

Essential Skills, Characteristics, and Experience:

  • Must hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above.
