Description

Main responsibilities of the role:

  • Assist with the monthly payroll process.
  • Prepare annual P11D statements for submission.
  • Prepare and post accruals and prepayments to SAP.
  • Reconcile and post weekly bank statements to SAP.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow statements based on bank reconciliations.
  • Review VAT on invoices for accuracy.
  • Authorise and perform financial checks on purchase ledger invoices.
  • Support financial year-end activities and collaborate with external auditors.
  • Complete ad-hoc finance-related tasks.

Profile

The successful candidate would ideally have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Started working towards an Accountancy qualification i.e. ACCA, ACA or CIMA
  • Proficiency in financial software such as SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Good analytical skills with an attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
