Are you a skilled and experienced Auditor seeking a leadership role?
This is your chance to step into an Audit Senior Manager position within an expanding Corporate Audit team, based in Central Reading, just a short walk from Reading Station. The role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse range of clients, including corporate, listed, and owner-managed businesses across multiple industries.
As an Audit Senior Manager, you'll take on a strategic role within the team, overseeing the delivery of high-quality audits, managing key client relationships, and providing guidance and mentorship to junior members. You'll work alongside Managers, Directors, and Partners to ensure the continued growth and success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audits from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient completion while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact and building strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Supervise and coach junior staff, providing training and support to help them develop their skills and advance in their careers.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency within the audit process, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate with Partners and Directors to ensure the firm's strategic goals are met, including identifying new business opportunities.
- Review financial statements and audit files, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practice.
What We're Looking For:
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification with significant experience in external audit within an accountancy practice.
- Previous experience in managing audits and client relationships within a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop junior team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and problem-solve within a leadership capacity.
