This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic Audit team, providing assurance services to a diverse portfolio, including Listed Companies, AIM-listed businesses, and large international groups. As an Audit Senior Manager, you'll work directly with Partners and Directors, leading high-quality audits and fostering the development of your team.Responsibilities:As an Audit Senior Manager, you will have responsibility for: -
- Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of audit engagements, ensuring adherence to International Standards on Auditing and maintaining exceptional quality.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coach audit teams, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the audit process.
- Engagement Oversight: Manage audit engagements from planning to completion, including liaising with Engagement Quality Control Reviewers.
- Business Development: Contribute to business development activities, including preparing audit tenders and delivering compelling pitches.
Requirements:As an Audit Senior Manager, the key requirements are: -
- ACA or ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in audit at a managerial level, ideally within industries such as Manufacturing, Retail, Professional Services, or Technology.
- Strong technical auditing skills with extensive knowledge of IFRS 9 impairment, particularly in Expected Credit Loss (ECL) auditing for financial assets.
- Experience managing audits for listed companies or Public Interest Entities is highly desirable.
- Excellent project management, client-handling, and communication skills.
