Key Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant - Management Reporting, include:

Cost Management:

Collaborate with Finance Business Partners to complete month-end journals and develop insightful management reporting packs, including analysis and commentary to tell the story behind the numbers.
Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and support shareholder reporting requirements.
Assist with forecasting processes, creating Smartview upload files, and producing detailed reports with analysis and commentary for Finance Business Partners.
Engage in business partnering, working closely with Finance Business Partners and stakeholders to stay informed of any changes affecting month-end or forecasting.
Support external auditors by addressing queries and providing documentation for the areas you oversee.

Internal and Shareholder Reporting:

Manage internal sales reporting, including rolling-forward, refreshing, and reconciling monthly and quarterly shareholder reporting (including KBIs).

The successful Financial Accountant - Management Reporting, will have:

Part-Qualified (close to completion) or Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
Strong desire to learn new tools and systems.
Proficiency in Excel is essential; experience with Alteryx and Smartview is beneficial.
Experience in reporting and forecasting is advantageous.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Knowledge of business and cost drivers is a plus.
