We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a global business based on the outskirts of Reading on a contract basis for 3-6 months. This role would suit someone who is part qualfied or qualified by experience who is happy to travel to a South Reading location 2 days a week with the remaining days to be worked from home.
Typical responsibilities will look like:
- Preparing month end journals (accruals & prepayments)
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Fixed asset management
- Inter-company recharges and reconciliations
- Lease management
What we are seeking in someone:
- Part Qualified Accountant or someone who is qualified by experience
- Someone with a strong grounding in preparing financial reports and statements
- IFRS knowledge would be beneficial (IFRS 15 & IFRS 16)
- Use of systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE or D365
- Availability to start at short notice and commit to the contract duration
