***Financial Reporting Accountant - Top 10 Firm - Reading - Broad & Commercial Opportunity***

Robert Walters are delighted to bring an incredibly broad and exciting Financial Reporting Accountant role to the market with a Top 10 accountancy practice for their offices in Reading, Berkshire. Our client is a market leading firm who has a very strong reputation in the area as well as a large international presence. Our client is focused on developing potential and welcoming ambitious and driven individuals to the team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of statutory accounts, financial reports, consolidations and disclosures under a range of reporting and accounting standards (IFRS, UK GAAP, Charities SORP, FRS 102, etc.)
  • Supporting the audit team in finalising statutory financial statement production as part of the audit process.
  • Supporting the Audit team with client queries regarding clients' accounts.

Requirements:

  • Experience of preparing full sets of statutory accounts in a professional services environment. Experience of different accounting standards to include IFRS, UK GAAP, Charity SORP, FRS 102, etc.).
  • Some audit experience would also be preferable, though not essential.
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
