Job Title: Interim Financial Accountant
Salary: £400 - £500 inside IR35
Experience Required: Qualified chartered accountant (ACA) with background in Audit (ideally big 4, top 10)
Responsibilities: Balance sheet reconciliations, resolving ledger based legacy accounting issues, providing detailed commentary for Financial Controller
Additional Requirements: Demonstrable experience in resolving complex reconciliations, high energy approach, excellent interpersonal skills, experience with NetSuite advantageous

I am recruiting an Interim Financial Accountant for a VC backed technology client which is in the process of integrating a number of acquisitions. This activity has thrown up numerous accounting issues which need reconciling / resolving.

Supporting the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will be varied, but will include:

Balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all items are reconciled, disclosed and accounted for correctly. Providing a detailed commentary for the Financial Controller.
Resolving a number of ledger based legacy accounting issues.

Requirements:

A qualified chartered accountant (ACA) with a background in Audit (ideally big 4, top 10).
Demonstrable experience of resolving complex reconciliations and transactional accounting problems, such as those thrown up by acquisitions / integrations / implementations.
A high energy approach. You must be curious with the ability to take responsibility for and solve complex problems.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and sustain good working relationships with internal clients
Experience of NetSuite would be advantageous.
Available immediately / 1 week.

Hybrid / Remote working. 1 day per week in the Reading office.
