Expanding Organisation seeks a Qualified Management Accountant to join their business on a permanent basis. The Management Accountant would be responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate financial information to support the production of the management accounts & information provided to the business.

Duties of the Management Accountant include:

  • Complete monthly management accounts
  • Month end close process, including journal entries.
  • Comprehensive analytical reviews and analysis of the P&L and balance sheet.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate resolution of reconciling items
  • Month end reconciliations of intercompany balances
  • General ledger accounts and reconciliation
  • Monthly bank reconciliations & support to treasury function as required.
  • Cash management and cash reconciliations.
  • Preparation of year end balance sheet analysis for quarterly reporting.
  • Support non-finance personnel where required on costing matters.
  • Assist with the external audit process.
  • Proactively determine opportunities to streamline and/or automate processes.

Requirements for the Management Accountant include:

  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA
  • Strong cash flow management
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently accurate work.
  • Ability to organise/prioritise work in and around deadlines, workloads, and conflicting priorities.
  • Bring a positive, enthusiastic, and 'can-do' attitude to work.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and strong prioritisation/time management skills
