We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance department in the energy and natural resources sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, developing, and analysing key financial information to ensure that the organisation's management makes well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth, and profitability.

Description
- Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts.
- Assisting with the production of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
- Liaising with operational management and other colleagues on a regular basis.
- Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning and forecasts.
- Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Managing and controlling the capital expenditure of the company.
- Providing financial advice and guidance to the company's managers and executives.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting & Finance or a relevant field.
- Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Proven experience in a similar role within the energy and natural resources industry.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
- High attention to detail and an aim for accuracy.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise.
Job Offer
