Management Accountant (Practice) - Reading

Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA - ideally you will have come from a Practice background, or worked in Practice previously/currently

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + 5% annual bonus + profit share annually

Our client is a well established owner-managed accountancy practice, who are growing year on year, and due to new clients requiring their services, they are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to work within their Reading based team.

The successful Management Accountant will ideally be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) but ideally ACA Qualified, from practice.

Your role will be varied, and will support a number of key clients:

- Looking after 8-12 clients on average and preparing their Monthly Management Accounts

- To be the your client's advisor for all management accounts related queries, and to be a trusted partner to them

- Completing VAT returns

- Providing bookkeeping services for your clients, as well as advising on accounting software, and tax, as and when required

- Actively reviewing clients accounts to ensure accuracy

- Assisting with implementation of client software and projects where needed

- Working closely with the wider practice, who support your clients with tax, audit and advisory services

- To undertake additional tasks and projects as advised by the Directors

The ideal Management Accountant will offer:

- Superb communication skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Articulate and hands-on

- System savvy - any prior experience of Quickbooks, Sage and IRIS will be highly desirable

- Forward-thinking, supportive and hard working
