About the Client:This global organisation within the Technology sector is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team in Reading. With a strong presence across international markets, they take pride in their high standards and collaborative working environment. 

About the Job:As Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in coordinating statutory audits across UK and international entities. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position ensures timely statutory reporting and compliance, while supporting monthly reporting and broader financial processes.

Duties will include:

  • Coordinating statutory audit processes to meet filing deadlines

  • Preparing statutory reporting packs for UK and international operations

  • Supporting monthly management accounts and investigating variances

  • Monitoring and promoting compliance with internal control frameworks (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley)

  • Collaborating with colleagues across finance to identify and address process gaps

  • Managing audit timelines and liaising with auditors

  • Supporting ad hoc financial reporting requirements

  • Contributing to a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement

About the Successful Applicant:You’ll be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified (or newly qualified), with 2–4 years' experience in an accounting role and a solid grounding in audit. Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems are essential, while familiarity with systems like Dynamics 365, HFM, or Sage is desirable. You’ll need great communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities independently.
