Our client based in central Reading are currently recruiting for a temp to work with them for approx. 4 weeks. This could be longer. The position is full time Monday to Friday, hybrid. You will be expected to work in the office every Thursday and Friday.

There is no parking available.

We are seeking a highly capable and adaptable temp to provide ad hoc administrative support to the team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Planner, and capable of managing various administrative tasks with minimal supervision. You must be a quick learner with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Prior experience in providing support at a Head of Department level and supporting with project coordination tasks is preferred.

Experience and skills required:

  • Proficient user of MS applications. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and MS Planner and Teams are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy in completing tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with Heads of Department and line mangers.
  • Quick learner, with the ability to quickly understand and adapt to new tools, processes, and task requirements with minimal guidance.
  • Comfortable with learning new software or tools that may be used within the organisation.
  • Previous experience providing administrative support Head of Department level would be preferred.
  • Proven ability to handle various tasks in a dynamic setting, particularly in supporting line managers or heads of departments.
  • Prior experience working in a temporary or contract capacity.
