We are seeking an organisation and ambitious Portfolio Administrator to work as part of our Solar PV ground mount Portfolio Team based in Reading.

Job: Portfolio Administrator

Location: Reading

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 Per Annum

Type: Permanent / Hybrid Working

Portfolio Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Portfolio Manager and respond to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Coordinating with field engineers to prioritise and plan jobs based on urgency.
  • Processing job sheets for engineers.
  • Liaising with and scheduling subcontractors.
  • Arranging travel and accommodations, including ferries and hotels.
  • Creating customer information packs as per contract agreements.
  • Compiling monthly reports by extracting and manipulating data.
  • Managing document control, including purchase orders, goods received, and invoicing.
  • Monitoring site performance and performing basic fault analysis.
  • Managing key component stock, including procurement, delivery, and inventory control.
  • Adapting to the changing demands of our customer portfolio
  • Enforce the company's H&S rules in both office and field settings.
  • Adhere to all company and legal HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) regulations.
  • Report any potential health, safety, environmental, or quality risks.
  • Ensure safe working conditions and methods that meet required standards.

Portfolio Administrator Requirements:

  • Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office (Word & Excel).
  • Confident with telephone interactions maintaining a professional telephone manner, and accurate document processing.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Commercially savvy, with an eye for identifying value drivers.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Communicates clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Consistently upholds the company's reputation and values.

Desires but not essential experience:

  • Service sector experience is preferred but not required.
  • Client-focused solution experience is a plus, but not essential.
  • Similar technical experience is advantageous, though full training will be provided.
