Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our team at a family-run Fire & Security company. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £28,000, along with a pension and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 25 after 1 year served. The Service Coordinator will be an integral part of our fast-paced environment, responsible for liaising with engineers, booking appointments, and handling various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule service appointments for engineers
  • Liaise with customers to book and confirm service appointments
  • Manage and update service schedules and databases
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records
  • Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service
  • Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to optimize service delivery
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a coordination or administration role, preferably in a related industry
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Understanding of customer service principles and practices
Day-to-day
  • Communicate with engineers and customers to schedule appointments
