TEAM ASSISTANT

Location: Reading (2 days a week in the office)

Duration: Till the end of the year

Pay rate: £23 per hour PAYE

We are looking for a Team Assistant who will be responsible for providing administrative and organisational support to the 2 teams in General Medicines. 

Key Responsibilities:

-Effectively and efficiently manages meetings

-Supporting and preparing all key strategic and operational meetings

-Diary management

 -Organisation of all Team Offsites with the appropriate & productive location with the most impactful agenda

 -Budget management

 -Supporting the team with PO requests

 -Supporting with internal and external congress’

 -Supporting the team with onboarding and training required

 -Provides support to the department ensuring that all meetings are given appropriate time and are prioritised where necessary.

- Pro-actively finds solutions to time management issues.

 -Manages travel and accommodation requirements in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

-Takes full responsibility of travel management from flights to accommodation for both domestic and international travel providing details in advance of travel date.

- Is aware of travel SOPs and ensures that the department operate within them.

 -Provides proactive administrative support on a day-to-day basis.

 -Offers proactive support in the preparation of presentations by providing technical support, input and proof reading.

- Offers support for internal communications

 -Creates and maintains up to date filing systems and databases such that all relevant information can be easily retrieved.

- Supporting with the uploading of materials for certification into our promomats system

Experience and qualifications:

-Experience of working in an administrative environment or qualification in business administration/office management.

-Understanding of all key computer packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

-Strong time management skills and a demonstrated ability to organise own workload and deal with conflicting priorities.

- Strong Interpersonal skills and experience of building relationships across a wide variety of people.

 -Ability to work alone on tasks pro-actively seeking, recommending, and implementing solutions to arising issues.
