Development Team Lead

Software Engineering Team Leader - C# / .net - Reading (Hybrid) - Permanent - £75K

An excellent opportunity to join a growing software business with a well established customer based, and continue the development and maintenance of their core product. 

You'll lead an Agile team, focussed on analysis and development of new features, improving scalability and performance of existing code and refactoring legacy code, and reducing technical debt. You'll be hands on in development and responsible for writing unit tests, and you'll work closely with other team members as well as with offshore QA teams. You'll be responsible for line and performance management of the team - around 4-5 people. 

You'll need excellent experience of C#, .net framework, SQL and other relevant technologies, as well as knowledge of Visual Studio and Git. You'll need to have had demonstrable experience of commercial development and have worked in agile teams in fast paced environments. You'll need to have had demonstrable experience of managing other developers; running 1:1s, being responsible for performance and career development, and ensuring the team delivers against requirements. 

The role is based near Reading and you will need to be in the office a couple of days a week.

It's a permanent role and will pay a base salary of up to 75K.
