Contract Authorising Engineer

£700 per day

A well respected defence consultancy based in Reading are urgently looking for an experienced Authorising Engineer on an initial 12 month contract basis.
The role will include ensuring all electrical Dangerous Occurrences are investigated and Project Electrical Safety Operating Procedures are reviewed and updated as required.
You'll also be defining the exact extent of the systems and installations for which each Authorised Person is responsible.
The company are looking for someone who has previously completed an approved Authorised Person training course and operated as an appointed Authorised Person for a minimum of five years.
Please note this role requires SC clearance so you must be eligible for SC.
Key skills:
- Previous experience as an Authorising Engineer
- Electrical experience of the systems and installations
- Experience in the development, implementation, monitoring, administering and auditing of electrical safe systems of work
- HSAWA, EAWR, CDM, risk assessments, safety systems, safety cases and SSoW.
