We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to work for our client who operate nationwide but are specifically looking for someone to cover the south of England. The position is a full time permanent role.
Main Duties
- Ensure the successful installation and commissioning of new weighing and inspection equipment.
- Diagnose and repair equipment faults promptly and effectively to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular maintenance visits to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Provide technical support and training to customers as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service.
- Identify and pursue potential sales opportunities for non-system-based scales.
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a field service role within the weighing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of checkweighers and metal detectors.
- Experience with PC-based systems for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- X-ray knowledge, Linux knowledge, PLC knowledge (preferred).
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a engineering/manufacturing discipline is preferred
