I am currently recruiting for a market leadingBuilding Envelope company who are keen to add a dedicated Quality Engineer to their team. This company operate facilities across the UK and have branches in Europe and the Middle East.

The duties for the role are as follows:

  • Lead root cause investigations and containment efforts, ensuring effective issue resolution at the customer-facing side of the business.
  • Conduct site visits to investigate non-conformances, assess customer concerns, and resolve product or service-related issues.
  • Facilitate RCA (Root Cause Analysis) sessions, verifying corrective actions and ensuring a thorough examination of problems.
  • Provide regular and transparent updates to the customer care team to keep communication clear and consistent.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, project management, and front-end teams, to align quality and customer support strategies.
  • Utilise data analysis, quality tools, and structured methodologies to identify and resolve recurring issues while driving continuous improvement.
  • Establish and oversee improvement forums or cross-departmental teams to tackle customer complaints effectively.
  • Monitor and report key quality metrics, resolution timelines, and cost factors to maintain accountability.
  • Develop and implement proactive solutions to prevent recurring issues and enhance overall quality standards.
  • Offer recommendations and feedback to refine processes and support long-term strategic improvements.
