Structural Engineering Coordinator

Contract Position

Reading - Field based role (Hybrid working)

Role Overview:

As a Structural Engineering Coordinator, you will support our Structural Engineering Team by ensuring efficient communication and maintaining guidelines, documentation, processes, procedures, and data capture. You will also organize meetings, workshops, and other activities to enhance our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the multi-disciplined Engineering & Design Team with structural engineering tasks.
  • Develop and ensure compliance of documents and presentations with corporate marketing standards.
  • Prompt the Structural Team on time-sensitive activities and SLAs.
  • Attend occasional off-site meetings within the UK.
  • Verify that all sites have the necessary documentation and certification.
  • Assist in current solution development and new product initiatives.
  • Conduct desktop reviews of site designs and structural documents.
  • Actively contribute to health and safety, environmental, business continuity, and information security arrangements.
  • Assist in managing supplier audits and quality reviews.
  • Support key stakeholder interactions, including presentations to client design stakeholders.
  • Aid in project management, ensuring design projects meet timelines and customer requirements.
  • Help identify and mitigate design and H&S risks and issues.
  • Facilitate communication across all parties using various platforms.
  • Coordinate and prepare events to promote engineering and design standard.

Required Skills :

  • Minimum 3 years in engineering with a focus on structural works.
  • Proficient in data management and experienced in a busy office environment.
  • Solid understanding of the construction industry, methods of construction, and structure installation.
  • Good knowledge of CDM regulations.
