Our client, a RIBA Chartered Architectural Practice, is seeking a talented Architect to join their expanding team in Berkshire. Specialising in high-end residential projects, the practice delivers bespoke designs ranging from contemporary new builds to traditional homes tailored for modern living.
The ideal Architect will have a strong design flair, experience across all RIBA stages, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion. A passion for high-end residential design is essential, along with excellent client-facing skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service. Vectorworks experience is preferred, though training can be provided.
Architect Job Overview- Engage with clients and consultants to define project briefs and requirements.
- Lead projects from planning through to technical delivery and completion.
- Produce high-quality design and technical drawings for planning applications and tender packages.
- Conduct site visits, attend meetings, and resolve queries during construction.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and produce detailed construction drawings.
- Oversee contract administration and ensure smooth project delivery.
- Degree-qualified in Architecture with RIBA Part III qualification.
- Proven experience running high-end residential projects across all RIBA stages.
- Passivhaus experience; highly advantageous
- Proficiency in Vectorworks (preferred, but training available).
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and technical detailing.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
- Salary; £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE)
