A well-established architectural practice in Reading is looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to become a key part of their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, including retail, commercial and residential schemes.

The ideal Senior Architectural Technologist will have extensive post-qualification experience and strong technical expertise. You will be comfortable managing your own projects, leading teams, and mentoring junior colleagues.

Key Skills, Responsibilities and Experience for the Senior Architectural Technologist role:

  • A degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology
  • Considerable post-qualification experience in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of current UK building regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities
  • Oversee and coordinate the technical aspects of projects from inception to completion
  • Prepare detailed design packages and technical drawings using Revit
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and external consultants to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met
  • Ensure all work complies with UK building regulations, codes and industry best practices
  • Support and mentor junior team members, helping to develop their technical skills
  • Conduct site visits and work closely with contractors to resolve any technical challenges
  • Revit knowledge is essential
