Role Overview:
As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for leading projects, producing detailed technical drawings, ensuring compliance with building regulations, and coordinating with clients, contractors, and consultants. This role requires a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong technical background and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage architectural projects from concept to completion.
Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning policies, and health & safety standards.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and external consultants.
Conduct site visits and inspections to oversee project progress.
Assist in mentoring and supporting junior team members.
Work collaboratively with architects and designers to develop innovative solutions.
Utilize industry-standard software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
Comprehensive knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods.
Excellent problem-solving and technical detailing skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
