Our client is a nationally recognised and highly successful Asbestos Removals company with a leading presence across the UK. They are now seeking to take on a well-rounded and experienced Asbestos Removals Contracts Manager to join their continuously growing company. This role would suit someone with a strong background in asbestos removals, overseeing operatives, managing licenced / non licenced projects on various Commercial, Retail, Healthcare, and educational sites. The successful candidate will be working closely with the companies Asbestos Supervisors, ensuring all work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines and timeframes.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bracknell, Basingstoke, Newbury, Camberley, Aldershot, Farnham, Guildford, Woking, Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, Whitchurch, Alton, Andover, Winchester.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have a strong background working for a reputable Asbestos Removals company, working as an Asbestos Contracts Manager.
" Must have excellent technical knowledge of the removals process.
" Able to organise own work schedule efficiently.
" Will have excellent IT skills, able to produce competitive reports, and detailed risk assessments & method statements.
" Will ideally hold the ARCA Contracts Manager ticket.
" Able to communicate well via phone, email, and face to face.
" Excellent people skills, able to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and clients of all levels.
The Role:
" Overseeing and efficiently managing a team of operatives.
" Working closely with client, confirming work to be carried out.
" Organising scheduled for operatives in line with company and client needs.
" Ensuring operatives have all necessary equipment / tools / PPE to carry out work safely and in line with agreed timeframes.
" Visiting site, ensuring to use information gathered to produce competitive quotes and tenders.
" Carrying out site visits to ensure work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines and agreed timeframes.
" Providing monthly management reports.
" Safely managing licenced / non licenced asbestos removal projects.
" Undertaking appraisals with staff and providing training where required.
" Managing existing client accounts while proactively sourcing new business and building professional relationships.
" Acting as first point of contact for clients.
" Producing detailed site-specific risk assessments & method statements.
" Ensuring to complete ASB5 documents and submitting to the correct authorities in a timely manner.
