My well established Thames Valley client are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead their sales team and drive business growth within our professional services sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership and a hands-on approach to both high-level strategy and day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for streamlining processes, implementing effective management operating systems, and executing strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the sales team, driving revenue growth and ensuring targets are met

Develop and execute high-level sales strategies in alignment with overall business goals

Streamline and optimise sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Implement management operating systems to monitor and manage team performance

Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive business operations

Hands-on involvement in day-to-day project execution, maintaining a close eye on sales activities and outcomes

Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key clients

Deliver consistent, measurable results, focusing on long-term business growth

Key Skills & Experience:

10+ years of consulting experience, with significant experience in sales within professional services

Proven track record of delivering results and driving business growth in a competitive environment

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a sales team

Expertise in developing and executing high-level sales strategies

Hands-on approach to project management and operational execution

Experience in implementing management operating systems to improve performance

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
