A Bookkeeper is needed to join the Accounting & Finance team at a not-for-profit organisation. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance.

Description

The Bookkeeper will cover some of the following:

  • Daily bank matching and bank reconciliations for all group entities
  • Inter company recharge invoicing and reconciliations
  • Posting credit card receipts
  • Dealing with parent billing queries
  • Soft credit control ie sending statements and chasing slow payers. Identify any that FD needs to be aware of and pass on to recover
  • Support with month end process and close
  • Support with year end audit

Profile

A successful Bookkeeper should have:

  • Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Demonstrable experience in daily transactional work and supporting different team members in a small, close knit team
  • Previous exposure to a common ERP system, such as Sage, Oracle, SAP or Strong Excel is an advantage.
